The Virginia Department of Labor and Industry’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) is offering in-person OSHA 10 – General Industry Training under the VOSH Institute for Learning & Outreach (VILO).The course will provide information on employee rights employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint and include general industry safety and health hazards that a worker may encounter. Emphasis will focus on hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. OSHA 10 General Industry Cards will be provided to participants.
This course is recommended for entry-level workers in industries of manufacturing, warehousing, sanitation, factory operations, health care, logistics and transportation. The two-day course will held on October 21, 2025 from 8-4:30 and continue on October 22, 2025 from 8-Noon, held at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (150 Slayton Avenue, Danville, VA, 24540).
